BUILDING STRUCTURE ENGINEERING of timber, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel, ICF, and other material systems using state of the art analysis and BIM software to produce complete, highly-detailed, and well-coordinated construction documents that clearly convey the design intent. OSHA PRE-DEMOLITION SURVEY to “determine the type and condition of structural systems so that actions can to be taken if needed to prevent premature collapse of any portion of the structure.”

STORM SHELTER PEER REVIEW for compliance with the requirements of Chapter 3 Structural Design of ICC500 Standard for the Design and Construction of Storm Shelters. International Building Code 2015 and newer has adopted ICC500 as a reference standard to be incorporated thereby also requiring a Peer Review for the following shelter types: Community Shelters with Occupant Load greater than 50, Storm Shelters in elementary schools, secondary schools, and day care facilities with an occupant load greater than 16 Storm Shelters in Risk Category IV facilities.
VALUE ENGINEERING from detail simplification and standardization to complete building redesigns. We simplify layouts, reduce piececount, and reduce connection material. We work collaboratively with the Contractor and the original Engineer of Record to re-engineer with efficiency of material, constructability of detail, and thorough documents which give assurance to the owner while saving construction time and cost.

VIBRATION STUDY to address occupant comfort or to meet the requirements of sensitive equipment. We can perform in-house predictive analysis of standard framing or we can work with our partners to perform onsite vibration testing of in place structures.
