This $13.0 M project is a state-of-the art research laboratory building for the University of Kentucky. It is located on the Ironworks Pike Research campus and will house offices and laboratories for battery, solar and bio-fuel research. The building is a steel frame with composite slabs and beams founded on grade beams and rock bearing reinforced concrete drilled piers. The building is designed to be LEED certified and is 100% Buy American.
