Aloft Hotel is a 5-story, 75,000 sq ft boutique hotel located in the Indian Springs neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The superstructure of the guest wings is composed of precast hollowcore floors supported by reinforced load-bearing concrete masonry walls. The first floor plan opens up, requiring the use of deep steel beam and column systems.

In addition to the typical lobby and bar spaces, the first floor includes a swimming pool space, constructed with an architectural wood roof deck and glue-laminated timber beams. Foundations are composed of grade beams and drilled piers, bearing deep into bedrock.
